My hard Do Not Wants are unhappy endings, character death and non-con, although dub-con is fine in some instances. I love shippy stuff but have given some gen ideas for you to work with as well if you don't do shipping.
Fandoms and Prompts
American Horror: Freak Show
As is well-known, Pepper is my favorite character in this fandom. Here are some ideas for fic or art involving her:
Pepper/Elsa Mars – Pepper was the first performer Elsa recruited for her freak show, and Elsa and Pepper are shown in canon to have grown to think of each other as family, but what if the relationship deepened? What if Pepper developed desires and needs that her “spiritual husband” Salty could not fulfil and Elsa felt it was her responsibility to take care of Pepper in that regard? How would their love blossom and grow? Stories or art can be any rating – either Pepper exploring and discovering her sexuality with Elsa, or just having some gentle romantic times.
OR
Pepper-centric gen – I would love to have anything where Pepper’s happy. A joyful “slice of life” piece where she is the central figure, perhaps! I’d love to see her having fun with her friends and loved ones at the carnival, enjoying herself doing her day to day activities, thinking the folks who come to gawk at her and Salty are funny… or having any other adventures that might come her way! Stories or art can include other characters as well, as long as all is happy and Pepper is the central character.
Freaks (1932)
Schlitze, Elvira (Pinhead Zip) and Jenny Lee (Pinhead Pip) - I love sweet, happy slice of life stories and pictures – just something about these characters having fun and being with their carnival family and doing all the things they do every day and enjoying their activities would be awesome! Perhaps they go on an excursion, or help other performers with their circus acts, or have some other sort of cute and funny adventure! A pretty art idea would be something centered around dressing up, since all three of them are into lovely dresses – lots of floral prints, ruffles, frills and bows! :)
Vampire Chronicles – Anne Rice
Claudia is my favorite character, and I would love something which is canon divergent, where she doesn’t get killed, and lives and flourishes! Perhaps she survives to make a life with Madeleine as she was intending to do. How does the relationship progress? Does Claudia develop mental abilities to compensate for her lack of physical strength? Do she and Madeleine ever seek vengeance on Armand and the vampires at the theater for attempting to destroy them? What would a happy ending for Claudia look like in her new life? Artists may be inspired by the characters’ beautiful clothes, especially since Claudia has taken to dressing like a woman. I could see the relationship between the two vampires becoming more sisterly than like mother and daughter, so art or fic alike could reflect such a change.
Frozen (2013)
Elsa and Anna - I would love something focussing on the relationship between these two, whether it’s a dawning sister-cest romance or just platonic, loving sisterly feelings growing now that the metaphorical and literal ice between them has thawed. I’m pretty happy with anything here, just not too much angst, please, because they’ve had enough already! I’d love to see the pair of them have some adventures together or just have some fun play-times in the snow – the latter would be a beautiful theme for art, with Elsa using her powers to make lovely, glistening, diamond-like snowflake patterns and such! <3
