Kid Fic Exchange Dear Creator Letter

Hello, dear creator! Thank you for being willing to create for me. I'm going to try and keep this letter as uncomplicated as possible and not too long. For this exchange, I'm happy to let you use the freeforms as prompts in themselves. depending on what you match on (though feel to add others too if you think they fit, and if you want to add something that's not there but it's not in my DNW list, feel free to add it too!) As long as you include some of my likes and stay clear of my DNWs you should be fine! <3 I will add an extra prompt or two with each fandom but these are of course completely optional.
One thing I particularly DO want to see if we deal with original child characters is a focus on daughters. Many canons make the birth of sons a big deal, and I would prefer to see girl-children get some welcoming love in this instance. I'm happy to see boys too if the characters have sons in canon already or if there is more than one child in your creation, though! <3
Things I DO like:
- female OC children if there is only one OC child in the story. If there's more than one then a mixture of sons and daughters is fine, but I would prefer a focus on daughters as sons get a lot of fanfare in many canons!
- fluff
- romance
- the deepening of emotional ties between characters
- friendship becoming love
- overcoming and healing from trauma with the help of a loved one (or loved ones or friends or just kind souls)
- hurt/comfort
- angsty scenarios that wind up with a happy or hopeful ending
- strengthening of comradeship bonds and characters being willing to go the extra mile to help someone they care about
- fun and humor
- someone stumbling on an unlikely but completely right for the situation solution when disaster looks likely to be looming
- found families AND biological or adoptive families

My hard DO NOT WANTS are:
- male OC children if there is only one child
- noncon
- main character death or death of one or both halves of the main pairing
- unhappy endings and complete and pure angst with no hope in sight

- adult female characters being submissive to males (it's fine to have female children getting some loving fatherly guidance but I don't want them to be submissive types either)
- darkfic
- graphic depictions of child or animal abuse (although allusions to those happening in the past are OK if the story requires it)
- unrequested ships
- animal characters being changed into humans
- character bashing

An adopted child for any of the scenarios could be a war orphan, perhaps, either ape or human - of course this would be in an AU where Koba never turned traitor. It would be interesting to see Koba deal with his feelings if the little girl was human!
