Hello, dear writer or artist (I love both forms of fanwork equally)! Thank you for being willing to create for me. The prompts below are suggestions that I hope might inspire your creativity but feel free to adapt or change things and add other elements as well if the story or art seems to require it. As long as you stay away from my hard DNWs and include some of what I do like (though of course you don’t need to include absolutely everything), you’re golden! Though some prompts may seem longer than others, I love these songs and the stories they tell all just as much as each other and would be equally delighted to receive any one of them as my gift.
As far as writing tenses and POVs and art styles go, I am sure to love anything you come up with. I don't have any DNWs regarding tenses, POV or types of artwork - my only DNWs are those listed below under hard DNWs.
For shippy works I prefer f/f, m/m and F/m (femdom), and I also love gen.
Things I DO like in a story or artwork:
- fluff
- romance
- the deepening of emotional ties between characters
- friendship becoming love
- overcoming and healing from trauma with the help of a loved one (or loved ones or friends or just kind souls)
- hurt/comfort
- spooky horror, creepy atmosphere
- creepy cuteness or uncanny valley
- angsty scenarios that wind up with a happy or hopeful ending
- strengthening of comradeship bonds and characters being willing to go the extra mile to help someone they care about
- fun and humor
- someone stumbling on an unlikely but completely right for the situation solution when disaster looks likely to be looming
- found families and/or kidfic
- pansexual characters
- femdom
- smut (for some of my smutty likes, see my Smut 4 Smut letter here: http://schlitzie-ramone.dreamwidth.org/12531.html
- characters in multi-gender threesomes ALL being attracted to each other, with f/f or m/m as well as f/m
My hard DO NOT WANTS are:
- noncon
- main character death or death of one or both halves of the main pairing
- unhappy endings and complete and pure angst with no hope in sight
- homophobia
- female characters being submissive to males, mainly sexually but also socially
- surprise switch in a F/m pairing or threesome where the male(s) takes control at the end, or someone says that it's the male character's turn to dominate next time
- characters in a pairing or threesome with male and female characters involved making a big deal of being "straight" and finding only the opposite sex attractive
- if you write smut where there are characters of different genders involved, having PIV being seen as the "main event" or "real" sex
- complete and utter darkfic - I do love spooky horror, but no gore or deathfic please
- amputation
- eye trauma
- graphic depictions of child or animal abuse (although allusions to those happening in the past are OK if the story requires it)
- unrequested ships being the focus of the fanwork

Request 1) Where Are You Now, Patty - Lenny Green (Song)
The Patterson-Gimlin film of 1967, and Patty herself, have always fascinated me (I like to hope the film, and she, are/were real…) I love the way she walked in that film, and how she turned back towards the camera as if to say, “You’ve seen what you came to see, now scoot!” And then she hurried off… towards another Bigfoot waiting for her, perhaps? I’d like to imagine this was her mate… another female Bigfoot! <3
How would life be for Patty after the Patterson-Gimlin film was made? Was she ever aware of the controversy she caused? What did she think of humans after seeing two men on horseback up so close? What was her family life like? How did Patty meet the other female Bigfoot, and how did their love develop? Did she and her mate raise children, either their own from previous encounters or relationships with males, or adopted? Do both mates have similar ideas about humans, or is one more curious than the other? If the story or artwork takes place in the future when Patty and her mate are older, how do they feel about their lives and experiences?
Request 2) Bigfoot Woman - Bigfoot Woman (Song)
Even though the singer is male, I'd love a f/f take on this if you choose this one! I love the idea of being fascinated by a Bigfoot woman, seeing beauty in non-traditional ways and seeking love somewhere most people wouldn't think to look. How would the two meet and communicate, and become lovers? How would they learn to understand each other, and what differences do they have, and what might these people from very different worlds have in common?
Request 3) Don't Pull That Trigger - Lenny Green (Song)
There's quite a few Bigfoot hunters who are literally that, regrettably, thinking that the only way to prove Bigfoot exists is to kill one. But what if someone started out with this attitude and changed their mind, and turns against the idea of killing what may be either a very rare animal or another type of human when they meet one of more of these beings? Perhaps the giant they thought they were going to gun down turned out to be a mother protecting her young, or a wise elder, or a curious youngster? Or perhaps a Bigfoot ends up saving the hunter's life? Or the hunter actually ends up falling in love with a Bigfoot? How does he or she finally turn against the idea of killing something, or someone, so rare and precious?
Request 4) The Carnival Is Over - Dead Can Dance (Song)
There's a childlike innocence and a sense of wonder as well as melancholy in this song, and I prefer to think of the protagonist of the song and the person he's singing to as child characters rather than adult lovers... the fun of going to the circus, being a little sad that the carnival is leaving but being allowed to stay up late and see the moon rise - so picturesque and beautiful! I'd love something about the children's fun at the circus, and about the "fabulous freaks" themselves... do the children sneak back before the circus leaves and get to know and befriend the "fabulous freaks"? Do they perhaps decide to run away with the circus when they are a bit older?
Request 5) Hand to Hand (A Song for the Orangutan) - Andrew Chinn (Song)
Saving and protecting great apes is something that I value highly as these beautiful animals are quite a passion of mine. I came across this song entirely by accident one day and I just fell in love with it! If you choose to create for this song I would just love something heartwarming about saving and protecting orangutans - maybe working in a sanctuary with these magnificent creatures, helping to preserve their habitat and release them into the wild? I don't really mind what direction the story or artwork takes as long as it's all happy times for orangutans in the end! <3
Request 6) She Talks To Rainbows - Ramones (Song)
My favorite band of all time, and this is possibly one of my favorites among their many awesome songs. One of the sweetest songs Joey Ramone ever wrote! I kind of picture the "little lost girl" more as a child or childlike character than a romantic love interest. And perhaps she's not merely aloof but that talking to angels, rainbows etc. means she has some kind of supernatural powers? What might she do with them, and perhaps the song's narrator, who can be any gender, could help her to use them for good? Is there a sinister force the "little lost girl" needs to destroy with those powers, or someone else she needs to help, just as the singer longs to help her? I'd be interested to hear the story from her point of view, too!
Request 7) Get Off The Road - The Cramps (Song)
This song just rocks! I love its themes of girl biker bravado and the idea of them beating the guys at their own game. There's all sorts of room for f/f interpretations with this song too - maybe some biker girl bonding after whatever they got up to on the road? I don't mind if this one especially turns smutty with a bit of consensual rough sex going on between these tough women, and all that leather, etc. would make good imagery for any artist who would like to take on this prompt! Writer or artist, feel free to go wild! <3
Request 8) Carrie - Cliff Richard (Song)
Ever since I was young, I have found this song really haunting. Who was Carrie and why did she disappear? Has she perhaps some supernatural abilities she's discovered in order to give the narrator of the song the slip? Perhaps the narrator of the song, who can be any gender, isn't the innocent party they're presenting themselves as? Perhaps they're an abusive parent or partner, or a cult leader whose favorite follower has seen the light and run away from the cult (perhaps with someone who helped her - a woman who's now her lover perhaps?) Perhaps, if Carrie does have some kind of powers, the narrator wants to control her and claim these for themselves? I'd like things to end happily for Carrie, but otherwise go where you will with this... it would be fascinating to see what happens from Carrie's point of view, too!
