Hello, dear writer or artist (I love both forms of fanwork equally)! Thank you for being willing to create for me. The prompts below are suggestions that I hope might inspire your creativity but feel free to adapt or change things and add other elements as well if the story or art seems to require it. As long as you stay away from my hard DNWs and include some of what I do like (though of course you don’t need to include absolutely everything), you’re golden! Though some prompts may seem longer than others, I love these pairings all just as much as each other and would be equally delighted to receive any one of them as my gift.
As far as writing tenses and POVs and art styles go, I am sure to love anything you come up with. I don't have any DNWs regarding tenses, POV or types of artwork - my only DNWs are those listed below under hard DNWs.
Things I DO like in a story or artwork:
- fluff
- romance
- the deepening of emotional ties between characters
- friendship becoming love
- overcoming and healing from trauma with the help of a loved one (or loved ones or friends or just kind souls)
- hurt/comfort
- spooky horror, creepy atmosphere
- creepy cuteness or uncanny valley
- angsty scenarios that wind up with a happy or hopeful ending
- strengthening of comradeship bonds and characters being willing to go the extra mile to help someone they care about
- fun and humor
- someone stumbling on an unlikely but completely right for the situation solution when disaster looks likely to be looming
- found families and/or kidfic

My hard DO NOT WANTS are:
- noncon
- main character death or death of one or both halves of the main pairing

- graphic depictions of child or animal abuse (although allusions to those happening in the past are OK if the story requires it)

Pairing: Bigfoot-Type Ape-Woman/Cryptozoologist (F/F)
Prompt Ideas:
A cryptozoologist has long believed that the forest houses Bigfoot-type ape people, and at long last she finds them and gets more than she bargained for in the form of an ape-woman who falls in love with her! This can be gently romantic and cuddly or full-on erotic, depending on what you’d like to write as long as everything’s consensual. How does this ape-woman express her love – perhaps her kind are more like bonobos than the gorilla-like creatures they’re often portrayed as? How does she communicate with the object of her affections? Does the human feel any conflict about the attraction she’s suddenly feeling (given that this other woman isn’t human and most people don’t believe her kind exist anyway)? How do they establish a loving relationship anyway in the face of such incredible odds?
Pairing: Sapient Bonobo Matriarch/Her Human Princess Bride (F/F)
Prompt Ideas:
This is another relationship with great scope for world-building, if you’re into that, and can be gently romantic or very smutty indeed, I’d be happy with either. Bonobos are a species of great apes, renowned for their peaceful nature and pansexuality.
How did the relationship come to be? Is it an arranged marriage in which the brides eventually catch feelings for each other (to seal a peace treaty between their two nations, perhaps) or did they meet in another way and fall in love despite their differences?
What are the human and bonobo cultures like? Are the bonobos simple forest-dwellers or have they developed a sumptuous civilization that puts the human world to shame? What cultural adjustments would the pair have to make?
When the human princess moves to the bonobo queen’s land, how would she relate to her new wife, a peaceful and loving matriarch? If her own culture was patriarchal and warlike, how would she make the adjustment? Would she passionately embrace her new life from the get-go or be a bit resistant at first?
Would the physical differences between human and bonobo be an instant point of attraction, or would this take some time to get used to?

Pairing: Backwoods Cult Leader/Her Bigfoot Lover (F/F) OR
Backwoods Cult Leader/His Bigfoot Lover (M/M)
Prompt Ideas:
Shenanigans in the backwoods, spooky folk horror and paranormal romance… oh, I am so there for that in either a F/F or M/M configuration! How does the cult leader meet the Bigfoot, or have the cultists always known that there are Sasquatches in the wood, perhaps a whole clan of them? Perhaps the cult have built up a relationship with the Bigfoot creatures, and maybe the Sasquatches keep outsider humans away from the cult, or vice versa? How did the human cult leader become lovers with a Bigfoot, and is there some sort of ritual sex they have as part of their bonding that increases the cult leader’s power? Does the power of the cult derive from the Bigfoot creatures, from the forest itself and from all things natural? Do outsiders try to interfere with the cult or the Sasquatches, and is there some sort of teaming up to drive them away or destroy them if they have tried to do the cult or the Bigfeet harm) between hairy folk and cultist humans? As far as the romance aspect goes, I love the size difference angle, hairy vs. relatively hairless, and the different types of powers the cult leader and the Bigfoot may possess – physical strength on the Bigfoot’s part, arcane woodland rites and magic on the cult leader’s!
Pairing: Mermaid/Ape-Woman (F/F) OR
Merman/Ape-Man (M/M)
Prompt Ideas:
I love the idea of two very different types of fantastical beings here – one from the ocean and the other from the forest. I’m intrigued by how this would work – in terms of romance, world-building, bodily and cultural differences… and I am pretty flexible with how you’d like to do this one. It can be smutty or just gentle and sweet… two beings fascinated by each other’s strangeness and a different kind of beauty from what they are used to.
How would such very different beings navigate a romance? Can they raise young together? How did they meet? What do they find attractive about each other?
Are their tribes peacefully coexisting or at war? If there is a tribal conflict, perhaps their love could help to overcome it.
Pairing: Sapient Gorilla/Human Scientist (M/M)
Prompt Ideas:
- I’m into any sort of romantic or erotic relationship here – either gentle with lots of big hugs, or full-on smut and even a bit of consensual rough sex and D/s with an alpha male silverback gorilla!
- First of all, I’m interested as to how the relationship may have come about. How did the gorilla become sentient – is he an alien being from another planet or alternate universe, or is he genetically enhanced in some way, or some form of magical creature if the world you envision him in has magic in it?
- The human may be the scientist, but who is really studying who? And what does this sentient gorilla think of humanity as a whole? Does he speak, use sign language or some other form of communication like telepathy?
- Do other humans know about this relationship, and what do they think of it if they do?

As with my other interspecies pairings, I'm interested in how the relationship develops, how they learn to communicate and how do such radically different beings become attracted to each other and fall in love? Does the trucker have a thing for big, hairy guys, and does the Bigfoot maybe have a curiosity about, and a burgeoning passion for, humans? How do they communicate and form a connection - is there something they bond over or have in common, or are they just carried away by lust that turns into something more? Does one decide to become part of the other's world, and how do the cultural differences between them play out and get adapted to? Does the trucker know there’s a Bigfoot in the area and seek him out, or is their meeting a complete surprise?
