Smut Swap 2019 Dear Creator Letter
Hello, dear writer or artist (I love both forms of fanwork equally)! Thank you for being willing to create for me. The prompts below are suggestions that I hope might inspire your creativity but feel free to adapt or change things and add other elements as well if the story or art seems to require it. As long as you stay away from my hard DNWs and include some of what I do like (though of course you don’t need to include absolutely everything), you’re golden! Though some prompts may seem longer than others, I love the fandoms all just as much as each other and would be equally delighted to receive any one of them as my gift.
I know we’re only guaranteed to match on one kink, but if others I’ve suggested seem to fit your creation as well, feel free to use them too! :D
Things I do like in a story or artwork: fluff, romance, the deepening of emotional ties between characters, friendship becoming love, overcoming and healing from trauma with the help of a loved one (or loved ones), hurt/comfort, angsty scenarios that wind up with a happy or hopeful ending, strengthening of comradeship bonds and characters being willing to go the extra mile to help someone they care about, lovers experimenting with new kinks and pleasures, playful and even funny elements, mischief and humor, curiosity about differences, getting wet and messy during sex, former outcasts finding a place to belong where they are valued and loved.
My hard Do Not Wants are: outright non-con, sex without love, homophobia, child or animal abuse graphically depicted (though allusions to this happening in the past are fine), non-human characters being transformed into humans or AUs where they were always human, character death of requested characters, unhappy endings and complete and pure angst with no hope in sight, female characters being submissive to male ones in any way. Also please no extreme underage – 16 and up is fine as that’s the age of consent in my country (or the equivalent for non-human characters would be that they must be recognizably adult, I guess). Please do not even include mentions of these DNWs!
If you’re an artist I’m not fussy about art styles, or colour choices, or colour vs black and white, and am extremely curious to see what you come up with, and for Original Works, where there is no visual representation of the characters existing, how you interpret their physical forms.
If you are a writer and we match on Original Work or include original characters in a fandom story: I’m fine with either “standard” names for original characters, or made-up ones. If you make up names, however, I only ask that they be easy to pronounce – for example, names like “Kessi” and “Lyrilla” are fine. “Xzyquiertzopil” – not so much!!! And either a long and plotty fic with lots of worldbuilding or a shorter porny scene will be equally loved and welcomed! Or maybe it’ll be something in between those two – I’ll totally adore that as well! <3
For both writers and artists who match on Original Work - re visual and written descriptions of human characters - I like a diverse range of body types and appearances, but would prefer for human characters not to look like conventional "Hollywood hotties", or looking or dressing like a bodybuilder or supermodel when that isn't realistic for the occupation that they have.
Now, onto optional details and some possible prompts that I hope might inspire you!
I’m going to try and keep this short, as I don’t want this to be exhausting to read and too constraining for you as a creator. 1) Rise of the Planet of the Apes Movies; Caesar/Koba, Caesar/Koba/Cornelia
Kinks: Grooming (Primate Behaviour), Body Contrast Kink, Older Virgin/Experienced Younger Partner, Gentle Femdom, Claiming Bites, Gentle Dom, Scar Worship, Scar Kink
What if the events of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes never happened and the affection between Caesar and Koba, or Caesar, Cornelia and Koba deepened, and Koba became one of the royal family? And Caesar, or Caesar and Cornelia, finally gave Koba the affection he's long craved and has probably never experienced, and teach him to open his heart and trust again? And re-awaken his bonobo passions into the bargain? That would be a massive turn–on for Caesar and/or Cornelia, I believe – to turn Koba away from mistrust and towards love… I can easily see Caesar and Cornelia fascinated by the older Koba’s scarred body and finding him beautiful even though he does not see himself that way, and Koba at first envying and then passionately desiring the younger, flawless-by comparison form(s) of his partner(s). Although he wears many scars already, perhaps Koba would be proud to be made the property of the king (or king and queen) and marked by claiming bites…
For this fandom, if you choose the m/m I don't want Cornelia jealous and disapproving that Koba's around now, but welcoming and maybe even aroused - and if you choose the threesome I definitely want m/m as well as f/m and I don't want Cornelia to be the submissive one - quite the contrary, I love strong, even bossy, female characters. Cornelia running the whole show would be awesome! And whichever way you choose to do this one, I do have a preference for a submissive Koba! <3
2) Kong: Skull Island; James Conrad/Kong

When I first saw the movie, I was intrigued by how Kong not only began to trust and show affection to Mason Weaver, but extended that trust to James Conrad too. What if the relationship between Conrad and Kong deepened, and they developed an understanding based on love as well as trust? It could include adventures and plot, or simply a tender exploration of feelings, leading to sexual pleasure either in dreams or in reality.
I particularly love the sheer size difference between the two and how their love and desire might overcome what initially seem physically impossible. I adore idea of Conrad being cradled in Kong’s giant hand, caressed by sensitive fingertips and rubbing his whole body against the palm and/or fingers. The Iwi seem to regard Kong as a god, so perhaps Conrad too would develop a worshipful attitude to this guardian of Skull Island, and Kong would become a gentle, benevolent god who could perhaps heal some of the pain Conrad carries with him due to his turbulent past. Of course, there would be a fascination on both sides with the body differences, and Kong might be curious enough to attempt some delicate grooming behaviour with this tiny human he’s come to love. And what if Conrad, who may never have made sufficient affectionate ties back in the human world, or may have made them and lost them due to one circumstance or another, finds in Kong the all-encompassing, unconditional love he’s always longed for?
3) Rampage; Davis Okoye/George

Yes, another giant ape/human pairing that I love! But the dynamic between George and Davis is very different than the one between Kong and Conrad. Theirs is an “us against the world” sort of friendship which began with Davis saving George and then with George saving Davis, and they have so many humorous interactions which I love to bits! <3
After the Chicago incident, George had his “chill pill” and is now calmed down and his normal sweet self, personality-wise, but the fact remains that he is still a gigantic, super-powerful enhanced ape. And I imagine he wouldn’t be allowed back with the normal sized gorillas for obvious reasons. As gorillas are social animals, that would leave George lonely, stressed and emotionally dependent on Davis for company and affection. How would such a relationship change and develop after the shocking events both of them have been through? How would the bond develop and intensify between them? Body contrast and size difference would of course be one point that would be an area of curiosity leading to desire, and grooming and gentle touch would naturally strengthen the bond.
It’s canon that – at least at the start of the movie – Davis likes apes better than humans. What if he really, REALLY likes apes, particularly MALE apes, and has never been able to admit it to himself or to anyone else before now? And what if George, with his innate intelligence intensified by all the enhancements he’s received, picks up on these feelings?

What would day to day life be like under the sea for these creatures, and what challenges would the pair need to overcome together? How would their physical desires for each other be expressed? Would the tails of mer-bonobos be erogenous zones, perhaps? Maybe even the tails of female mer-bonobos in estrus might change color? And maybe the clitoris of a female mer-bonobo might be on the larger side? Would they perhaps use shell jewelry or other adornments to please and attract each other? Would affection be expressed privately or in public, as with bonobos in the everyday world? I can imagine them being pretty inventive so any of their adornments or other exquisite objects in their surroundings could be used for erotic pleasure! • Sapient Male Gorilla/Male Human Scientist

The human may be the scientist, but who is really studying who? And what does this sentient gorilla think of humanity as a whole? Does he speak, use sign language or some other form of communication like telepathy? Do other humans know about this relationship, and what do they think of it if they do? Their very differing bodies might pose a point of strong curiosity and eventual attraction, both because of the furry vs furless bodies and the differences in size and strength. I envision them being drawn to each other during bouts of touch and mutual grooming, curiosity growing into desire…
• King of a Sapient Chimpanzee Tribe/Male Human Explorer

This is another concept that fascinates me… what sort of world do these intelligent chimps live in, and what sort of civilization have they made? How does the explorer cope with a tribe of apes who are equally as smart as he is? How does he deal with his attraction to the king, and the king with his attraction to the human? Is the explorer a guest living peacefully with the tribe, was he captured initially, or is he some sort of ambassador forging an alliance between the ape tribe and humanity? Is the king widowed, perhaps, and seeking a replacement mate – and somehow finds this man to be the most suitable candidate? I imagine the sexual part of their relationship could develop in a number of ways – curiosity about their very different bodies developing into attraction, curiosity about different cultural practices including discussions of sex (and it’s easier to show than tell about such things, of course), grooming and touching leading to much more, and the human being curious about some of the gadgets that these smart chimps have invented (naturally, some of these things would have an erotic purpose, which requires a practical demonstration!)

The only limit I do want to impose is that I don’t want female-identified people being submissive to male-identified folks – otherwise, all kinds of couplings, threesomes and moresomes are very, very welcome indeed!

Or perhaps the Bigfoot had a female mate in the past and somehow lost her, and she’s seeking a replacement who just happens to be human this time? How does the ape-woman communicate with the object of her affections? Does the human feel any conflict about the attraction she’s suddenly feeling (given that this other woman isn’t human and most people don’t believe her kind exist anyway)? How do they establish a loving relationship anyway in the face of such incredible odds? The sex can be gently romantic and cuddly or full-on wild and a bit on the rough side, depending on what you’d like to write as long as everything’s consensual. I imagine a lot of curiosity leading to attraction because of the contrast in their bodies, a lot of touching and grooming… and maybe the intelligent Bigfoot has invented her own kind of sex toys or is endowed with a very large clitoris that can be put to very good use? Also, although there's plenty of anecdotes about Bigfoot smelling bad, perhaps the creatures only stink when they're pissed off and giving a warning to stay away, the way silverback gorillas sometimes do (https://www.livescience.com/46719-gorillas-use-smell-communication.html). Maybe when they want to mate, the ape-people smell very nice indeed - and the human woman finds out that she loves the ape-woman's scent!

This is another concept that fascinates me… what sort of world do these intelligent chimps live in, and what sort of civilization have they made?
